Even before Rev. Faye Powell was installed as Pastor of The Body of Jesus Christ Kingdom Ministries in 2007, she taught Bible Classes for years after being ordained into the Ministry in 1989.
However, following years of serving through various Christian Organizations and Outreaches, it was as The Holy Ghost continued to unfold and reveal the Gospel in Its Purity to Rev. Powell until the aching urgency of The Lord became unrelenting in her spirit and His Directive became her own. For The Lord was not repenting regarding His Kingdom Establishment as in Heaven, so on earth, and the need to build up His Body and unify His Church. The time that God had assigned for the Ministry to come into fruition had arrived. On January 7, 2007, Rev. Powell was installed as Pastor and The Body of Jesus Christ Kingdom Ministries begin holding Worship Services in a shared Church facility.
Shortly thereafter, The Lord instructed Rev. Powell to leave the building and extend the Ministry through what He called, “HOME SHARE”.
Reluctant, but compelled and excited to see the unchurched, despondent, and distracted have The Gospel of Jesus Christ unveiled to them, The Body of Jesus Christ Kingdom Ministries began to reach beyond the confides of the four walls with HOME SHARE. In 2015, after more than a decade of hosting the Outreach, the brook dried up for HOME SHARE to continue in residences.
The Ministry then secured Worship opportunities to extend the PROVOKE Bible Class in two geriatrics centers, two seniors’ apartment complexes, and an adult day healthcare center.
